When we first arrived, I had the chance to visit my first small health center in Togo. Since I was there as a tag along for a water well project, I didn't get the chance to talk to the staff as much as I would have liked, but I did get to sneak around and take a few photos. What better way to kick off the blog?
The clinic
The baby-weighing station.
A (very old) family planning poster!
The vaccination room.
A Guinea Worm poster. The disease was recently eradicated from Togo.
I hope I get the chance to go back during my time here. Now that I am more comfortable in the language and in the country, I'd love to get the chance to talk and ask about their clinic and it's projects.
